Traveling Commercial Superintendent
We're seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our team. This person will oversee construction projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, ensuring high-quality execution, safety, and schedule adherence.
Client Details
Join a fast-growing, national General Contractor/Design-Build firm with a strong footprint in the restaurant and commercial sectors. We're expanding our portfolio beyond our core restaurant work (Raising Cane's, Chick-fil-A, etc.) and actively pursuing diverse projects including:
Storage facilities and distribution centers
Data centers (currently bidding and active in Asheville, NC - $12M Division 9 scope)
Medical Office Buildings (M.O.B.s)
High-end grocery stores like Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Fresh Market
Our work spans from the DC Metro area down through the Carolinas and into Georgia.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
On-site supervision of commercial construction projects
Coordinate all trades and ensure quality craftsmanship
Monitor project schedule and ensure timely completion
Maintain communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
Enforce safety regulations and site cleanliness
Troubleshoot issues and proactively manage changes in the field
Profile
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction
Experience with fast-paced retail or restaurant builds preferred
Willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
OSHA 30 and other relevant certifications a plus
