Description
The Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Greensboro will:
- Effectively draft memos, reports and documents.
- Support the project manager and the project team.
- Work closely with other project engineers.
- Write letters to subcontractors and vendors.
- Communicate project requirements to subcontractors and vendors.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of change orders.
- Review drawings for changes and clarifications.
- Meet with members of the Owner's team to administer day-to-day activities such a planning access and preparing work plans and safe work plans.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Profile
The Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Greensboro should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using construction estimating software and other relevant tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build interpersonal relationships.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
