Description

As a Controls Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, programming, and testing electrical systems for custom industrial equipment. You'll collaborate with mechanical engineers, manage component selection, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Design and layout of control cabinets and instrumentation systems.
  • Programming and configuration of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Prepare schematics, BOMs, manuals, and 'as-built' documentation.

Profile

The Controls Engineer will bring a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience with industrial automation systems. You're comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and PLC/HMI programming.
  • Familiarity with NFPA standards and troubleshooting complex systems.
