Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Interiors
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of commercial interior and office TI projects, starting with a high-profile historic hotel renovation in Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow with a respected general contractor in the South Florida market.

Our client is a well-established, reputable general contractor specializing in commercial interior build-outs, tenant improvements, and complex renovation work throughout South Florida. They are known for their collaborative culture, repeat clientele, and ability to execute challenging projects in occupied and historic environments.
Description
Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day oversight of commercial interior and TI projects
Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors and vendors
Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Help manage budgets, cost reporting, and procurement activities
Coordinate with designers, owners, and field teams to ensure project milestones are met
Participate in site meetings, inspections, and quality control efforts
Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes
Profile
1-5+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer in commercial construction
Proven background in commercial interiors, tenant improvements, and office space projects
Experience with renovation work; historic renovation experience is a strong plus
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with construction software and project management tools
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
