Junior Estimator- High End Commercial Construction

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Junior Estimator to join a growing General Contractor in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2-3 years of estimating experience who wants to work on high-end commercial projects.

Description

• Assist in preparing detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for commercial projects.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive and complete bids.

• Support senior estimators during preconstruction and bidding phases.

• Participate in project handoffs and assist in maintaining historical cost data for future estimates.

• Collaborate with project management and field teams to ensure alignment between estimating and construction execution.

Profile

• Holds 2-3 years of estimating experience with a commercial General Contractor.

• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, materials, and building systems.

• Proficient in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, Procore, or Sage) and Excel.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized with strong time management skills.

• A motivated self-starter with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
