Junior Estimator- High End Commercial Construction

We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join a leading General Contractor in Miami, FL, specializing in high-end commercial construction. This role is ideal for a professional with 2-3 years of estimating experience looking to further their career.

Description

• Assist in preparing detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for high-end commercial projects.

• Review plans, specifications, and subcontractor quotes to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Senior Estimators during preconstruction phases.

• Support bid analysis, vendor negotiation, and proposal preparation.

• Maintain accurate records of project costs, budgets, and subcontractor communications.

• Contribute to process improvement and the continued refinement of estimating tools and templates.

Profile

• 2-3 years of experience as an estimator, ideally with a commercial General Contractor.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• Strong proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under deadlines.

• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow into a lead estimator role over time.
