Junior Estimator- Commercial Construction

Description

• Assist in preparing detailed and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects.

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather and verify pricing.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and help develop competitive bid proposals.

• Maintain cost databases and historical records for future estimating purposes.

• Support senior estimators with value engineering and scope reviews.

Profile

• 2-4 years of experience as an estimator within a commercial General Contractor.

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and trade scopes.

• Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, OST, or similar.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Team-oriented with strong communication and analytical abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
