Junior Estimator- Commercial Construction
An established General Contractor in Miami is seeking a Junior Estimator with experience assembling bids for commercial construction projects. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious estimator looking to advance their career with a reputable and growing firm.

Our client is a well-established commercial General Contractor with a strong presence across South Florida. They specialize in ground-up and renovation projects across multiple sectors including retail, office, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. The company prides itself on its collaborative culture, long-term client relationships, and commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Description
Assist in preparing detailed and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects.
Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather and verify pricing.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and help develop competitive bid proposals.
Maintain cost databases and historical records for future estimating purposes.
Support senior estimators with value engineering and scope reviews.
Profile
2-4 years of experience as an estimator within a commercial General Contractor.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and trade scopes.
Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, OST, or similar.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team-oriented with strong communication and analytical abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
