Legal Secretary (Trusts and Estates)
The Legal Secretary will play a vital role in supporting two busy attorneys with their estate planning and administration matters. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a wide range of administrative and client-service responsibilities in a fast-paced legal environment.

This well-established, nationally recognized law firm has a strong presence in the Stamford area. Known for our high-caliber legal services and exceptional client relationships, they are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Legal Secretary to support two attorneys in the Trusts & Estates practice group.
Description
Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence related to estate planning and trust administration
Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
Schedule meetings, maintain attorneys' calendars, and manage deadlines
Coordinate execution of documents, including notarization and witness coordination
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and other professionals via phone, email, and in person
Handle time entry, billing assistance, and other administrative tasks as needed
Assist with the preparation and filing of probate court documents
Support attorneys with the management of trust funding, asset documentation, and follow-up communications
Profile
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in trusts & estates or a related practice area
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), document management systems, and legal billing software
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
Notary Public or willingness to become one is a plus
Job Offer
Competitive salary range of $60,000-$70,000 annually
