Receptionist/Office Manager
Our client is a leading manufcacturing company based in Stamford, CT and they are seeking an Office Manager/Receptionist (Temp). As the Office Manager/Receptionist, you be the main point of contact fo the CT office. They are seeking an outgoing, customer service-oriented individual who will anticipate the needs of the office. This role is on-site & a 3-month contract.

Description
- Answer and screen phone calls, voice mails, and route phone calls/voice mails to the appropriate employee
- Meet, greet and direct incoming visitors
- Liaise with building security for visitors
- Assist with making transportation arrangements for clients/visitors (as needed)
- Manage and assist with scheduling conference room for meetings
- Manage the office inventory and kitchen supplies; place orders, adhere to budgets, receive/organize deliveries
- Arrange repairs, cleaning, and maintenance of office space and equipment
- Assist with coordination of office construction and renovation projects; office moves and new hire work space set-up
- Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail, route publications and coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail and coordinate package services
- Manage storage within the office space and other off-site storage (archives)
- Support and cover administrative staff as needed
- Perform additional administrative projects and tasks as assigned
Profile
- 3-5+ years of administrative, office, or reception experience
- Must be able & willing to work in-office in Stamford, CT
- Hours: 8:00am-4pm Days in-office: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Contract assignment from February 2025 to May 2025
- High School diploma or GED
- Strongly proficient using Microsoft Office
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Must be organized, resourceful, and problem-solution oriented
- Professional appearance and punctuality, with the ability to work 8:00-4:00
- Proficiency Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Ability stand, walk, and lift up to lift 30lbs as needed
