HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a key advisor to leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, training & development, and HR compliance. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We're working with a growing manufacturing company based in Brooklyn, dedicated to producing high-quality products while fostering a strong workplace culture. As they expand, we are seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to support their workforce, enhance employee engagement, and drive HR initiatives aligned with their business goals.
Description
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on workplace issues.
- Handle conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions while ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Support leadership in driving a positive and productive work environment.
- Partner with hiring managers to recruit and retain top talent.
- Develop strategies to address staffing needs, particularly in manufacturing and operations.
- Oversee onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
- Implement and manage performance review processes.
- Identify training and development opportunities to upskill employees and enhance leadership capabilities.
- Coach managers on best practices for team development and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, etc.).
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and safety guidelines.
- Manage leave of absence programs and workers' compensation cases.
- Support compensation and benefits administration.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a strong company culture.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
Profile
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, labor laws, and HR best practices.
- Experience with Unionized employee populations strongly preferred
- Experience with recruiting, performance management, and training programs.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, from factory workers to senior leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
