Description



Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with the executive team as the company's primary HR voice, shaping people strategy during rapid scaling.
  • Provide counsel on workforce planning, organizational structure, leadership development, and talent strategy.
  • Build HR frameworks, policies, and programs that align with the fintech/banking regulatory environment.
  • Drive culture initiatives that reinforce a high‑performance, mission‑driven, highly ethical environment.


Talent Management & Organizational Development

  • Design and implement core TM programs: performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and career frameworks.
  • Create scalable onboarding, learning, and competency models tailored to a fintech environment.
  • Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and deploy development solutions that strengthen the organization.


Employee Relations & Coaching

  • Serve as a trusted coach to leaders and employees, addressing issues proactively and thoughtfully.
  • Manage employee relations with sound judgment, high discretion, and balanced risk‑management appropriate for a regulated industry.
  • Guide leaders through compensation decisions, performance discussions, and employee engagement strategies.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Own HR infrastructure: HRIS, policies, employee handbook, workflows, and reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with employment law, data security/privacy expectations, and financial services-specific risk considerations.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk functions on audits, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Lead compensation benchmarking and the annual merit/bonus process.


Recruiting Partnership

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition (internal or external partners) to build recruiting processes suited for fintech and regulated functions.
  • Advise on hiring planning, organizational design, and candidate experience for both technical and corporate roles.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of HR experience, including experience as an HRBP or Head of HR in fast‑paced environments.
  • Required: Experience in financial services, fintech, or banking (deep understanding of regulated environments).
  • Proven success in a high‑growth or start-up setting where you built or scaled HR programs.
  • Broad generalist skillset across talent, org development, employee relations, comp, and HR ops.
  • Strong business acumen, especially in risk‑sensitive or compliance‑heavy environments.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders, build credibility quickly, and navigate ambiguity with confidence.
  • Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Comfortable functioning as both strategic advisor and hands‑on operator.

Job Offer
