Executive Assistant to the Office of the President
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the President & CEO of a Manhattan-based social advocacy nonprofit, managing scheduling, communications, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires exceptional organization, discretion, and a deep commitment to the organization's mission of driving systemic social change.

Description
- Manage and optimize the President's calendar, including scheduling internal and external meetings, conferences, travel, and public appearances
- Serve as the primary liaison between the President and internal teams, board members, donors, public officials, and external partners
- Prepare agendas, materials, presentations, and follow-up communications for board meetings, leadership meetings, and stakeholder engagements
- Draft, edit, and manage correspondence on behalf of the President, ensuring tone and message align with the organization's values
- Coordinate complex travel itineraries, logistics, and event planning
- Track action items and ensure timely follow-through on priorities and commitments
- Handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects led by the President's office
Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of executive-level administrative support experience, preferably in the nonprofit, advocacy, or public policy sectors
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with integrity
- High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal savvy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & MS Teams
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and occasionally support after-hours needs
- Ability to work in-person 2x per week
