A top-tier general contractor is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support commercial interior fit-out projects across New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile office spaces for major clients in finance, law, tech, and media.

Our client is a well-established general contractor known for its excellence in high-end commercial interior buildouts throughout Manhattan. Their team has a reputation for delivering complex projects on time and under budget, while fostering a collaborative and growth-focused work culture.
Description
Support the Project Manager in overseeing the full project lifecycle of commercial interior projects
Track budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Coordinate subcontractor schedules and assist with weekly progress meetings
Maintain project documentation and assist with procurement of long-lead items
Interface with clients, design teams, and consultants to ensure project alignment
Conduct site walks and ensure work aligns with project plans and safety standards
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
2-4 years of experience in commercial interiors, preferably in NYC
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore (or similar project management platforms)
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A team-first attitude with a passion for quality and client satisfaction
