The Field Service Engineer is a critical element in ensuring customer satisfaction with my client's manufactured and distributed products. This position is responsible for performing onsite repairs and installations, preventative maintenance, client training, triaging calls and promoting service contracts. The Field Service and Engineer must maintain the highest standards in courtesy and competence with the company's customers.

Description
The responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer are:
- Install, calibrate, and configure ART equipment at client sites according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to ART equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or on-site, providing timely solutions for clients.
- Educate and train clients on proper equipment use, maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work orders, reports, and inventory logs.
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, sales, and customer service) to ensure seamless support and customer satisfaction.
- Travel to customer locations within the region and occasionally nationwide to service ART equipment.

Profile
The successful Field Service Engineer will have:
- 3-5 years of field travel, relevant customer service, and electronic/optical diagnostic work.
- Biomedical Device experience, or experience working in a regulated industry
- Must be able to travel locally and domestically as needed
- Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
