HR Manager | York County, PA | $120 - 140K

We're looking for an HR Manager who will be a strategic business partner to the GM and Head of HR in the US. Must have experience as a people manager in the manufacturing (or similar) industry.

Our client is a well known manufacturing company that is looking to bring on an HR Manager to help lead their HR department. This role will be on-site 5 days a week in York County, PA and has a salary of $120K - 140K.

Description

• Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure a smooth transition for key roles within the organization, including identifying and preparing high-potential employees for future leadership positions, creating development plans, and conducting regular talent assessments to align with business objectives and continuity plans.
• Act as a strategic partner to the General Manager and HR Manager, providing expert advice and support on organizational development, talent management, and strategic initiatives to align HR practices with business goals, drive performance improvements, and address any operational challenges effectively.
• Manage two direct reports; oversee them on recruiting, administrative, and employee grievance related tasks.

Profile

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Must have experience working in a non-union environment.
• 7+ years of experience as an HR Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience working as a people manager.
• Knowledge of current PA state employment laws.
• Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.
