Description

• Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on conflict resolution and workplace matters.

• Recruitment and On boarding:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire on boarding and orientation programs in both English and Spanish.

• HR Compliance and Administration:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR records, including personnel files, benefits documentation, and compliance audits.

• Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for employees in English and Spanish.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend learning opportunities for workforce development.

• Compensation and Benefits:

  • Support payroll processing and address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
  • Assist in the administration and communication of benefits programs to employees.

• Performance Management:

  • Partner with managers to execute performance appraisal processes and provide feedback tools.
  • Support the development and implementation of improvement plans when needed.

• HR Programs and Initiatives:

  • Assist in the development of company-wide HR initiatives, including employee engagement, wellness programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Collaborate on special projects to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal communication).
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Skills:

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or similar industry.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Job Offer

Target compensation for the Human Resources Generalist is $70,000 - $80,000 base salary + bonus. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
