Bilingual HR Generalist | White Plains, NY
Our client is looking for a bilingual (English and Spanish) HR Generalist to join their team as their first HR hire. You'll be reporting directly to the CEO/owner of the company and run recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and strategic initiatives.
Client Details
Our client is a family-owned commercial cleaning company that has been around for over 20 years and has plans to grow steadily over the next 10 years! They're looking for an HR Generalist who's bilingual in English and Spanish as they have a large population of Spanish-speaking employees. The role is on-site 5x/week in White Plains, NY.
Description
- Ensure 100% accurate and timely payroll for all employees weekly, with no errors or delays
- Audit payroll processes quarterly to identify and address discrepancies.
- Administering HR programs and policies
- Managing employee relations and addressing issues as they arise
- Address employee concerns and resolve issues promptly, ensuring 95% employee satisfaction in HR interactions.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws
- Assisting in recruitment and hiring processes
- Providing support for employee training and development
- Maintaining HR records and documents

Profile
A successful Bilingual HR Generalist should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Must have experience processing payroll
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of staff
