Assistant Project Manager- Municipal Construction

We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager with experience in municipal construction to support the successful delivery of public sector projects in the Fort Lauderdale area. Description

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing municipal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Support with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control.

• Track project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Conduct site visits and collaborate with field staff to maintain quality and safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with city officials, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

• Assist with project meetings, progress reports, and client updates.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• 2-4 years of experience in construction, specifically working on municipal or public sector projects.

• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.

• Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
