Assistant Project Manager- Municipal Construction
We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager with experience in municipal construction to support the successful delivery of public sector projects in the Fort Lauderdale area. Description
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing municipal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Support with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and document control.
Track project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with project goals.
Conduct site visits and collaborate with field staff to maintain quality and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with city officials, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Assist with project meetings, progress reports, and client updates.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in construction, specifically working on municipal or public sector projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
Team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
