Institutional Client Service Associate
The Client Services Associate plays a vital role in supporting Client Service Advisors by managing client service needs and providing administrative assistance. The CSA collaborates with teams across different departments, balancing independent work with team efforts to handle daily tasks and special projects.

The client is a global investment manager that offers a wide range of financial services to both institutional and independent investors.
Description
- Collaborate with the Client Service Advisor on daily client servicing tasks to ensure team objectives are met, including reviewing and distributing recurring client reports, preparing for meetings, processing client-directed cash flows, maintaining CRM data, coordinating client requests, and providing coverage during the Client Service Advisor's absence.
- Assist the Client Service Advisor with the coordination and completion of due diligence requests, working closely with the RFP team to meet deadlines.
- Work with reporting and analytics teams in different locations to ensure high-quality client materials, reviewing content and taking responsibility for its accuracy and clarity.
- Contribute to team initiatives aimed at improving internal client service procedures, aligning with industry best practices.
- Develop an understanding of client portfolios and performance, offering proactive support and communication on performance, attributes, and developments.
- Partner with Legal and the Client Service Advisor to ensure all obligations outlined in the Investment Management Agreements are met.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, Finance degree preferred
- Highly motivated team player eager to contribute to a variety of projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across a large organization, working closely with investment teams, as well as departments such as operations, legal, risk, reporting, and marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities, with a solid understanding of different functions within asset management.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with institutional operations and trade flows to address client inquiries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 2-5 years of client service experience in asset management required.
- Series 7, 66, and 31 licenses a plus.
- Working knowledge of fixed income, equity, and alternative investment products preferred.
