HR Coordinator
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources Department through administrative and operational support. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for employee onboarding, file management, HRIS and payroll support, and HR compliance activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through sports. Originally established to provide high-performance training for junior athletes pursuing collegiate scholarships. The organization has helped more than 300 alumni, delivering inclusive programs.
Description
- Coordinate new hire process with hiring managers and process new hire paperwork
- Manage organization's background check and USTA SafePlay approval process for new hires, contractors, and volunteers
- Completes Form I-9 through E-Verify for all employees and maintains I-9 file
- Maintain accurate employee data and employee files through HRIS platform (Paylocity)
- Assist with processing invoices and reconciling benefits statements
- Serve as first point of contact for HR-related questions
- Support payroll processing and timekeeping verification
- Assist with performance review administration and tracking
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations by updating policies and procedures
Profile
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college required; or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling at least four years in lieu of a degree
- At least two years of related experience as an HR Assistant or similar administrative role required
- Some knowledge of HR principles and employment regulations
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Paylocity, ADP, BambooHR, etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and across departments
