Key Responsibilities

As the Project Manager, you will report into senior leadership and take full ownership of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. You will:
  • Lead multiple federal construction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budget, and schedule
  • Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Oversee preconstruction activities including scope development, estimates, risk assessments, schedules, and value engineering
  • Manage all construction phase operations including subcontractor buyout, contracting, RFIs, change orders, forecasting, and monthly reporting
  • Take full responsibility for project financials, including WIP reporting, cash flow, payment applications, and profit optimization
  • Chair OAC meetings, ensure documentation accuracy, and drive timely closeout and final payment
  • Provide leadership, direction, and development to Assistant Project Managers

The Successful Applicant

For the Project Manager position, we are seeking:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in commercial or federal construction
  • Experience delivering $30M+ projects; prior exposure to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Procore, and construction scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen, negotiation abilities, and risk management skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
  • Ability to meet strict federal compliance requirements including background checks and drug screening
