Engineering Manager - Control Systems & Compliance

$140,000 - $160,000/Year

We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in UL508A panel compliance, regulatory engineering standards, product validation/testing, and automation control systems.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and testing of control panels and power distribution systems.

  • Ensure engineering processes meet UL508A, NEC, IEC, and other relevant regulatory standards.

  • Oversee product validation and compliance testing protocols for new and existing solutions.

  • Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, and Field Engineering teams to drive project success.

  • Support internal and external audits related to electrical and automation standards.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, schematics, and validation reports.

  • Mentor and guide engineering staff in best practices for safety, compliance, and design integrity.

Profile

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in engineering roles related to power systems, automation, or industrial control.

  • Proven expertise in UL508A panel design/build and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong background in PLC/DCS systems, instrumentation, and power distribution.

  • Experience with product testing, validation, and commissioning.

  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB/Simulink, or LabVIEW.

  • Effective communication and project management skills.
