Sales Support Clerk
Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and is responsible for providing administrative and sales support to the CCO and broader sales team as needed. Responsibilities include generating reports, creating sales documents and proposals, gathering and analyzing data from multiple platforms, and supporting various sales initiatives and projects.

Description
Operational & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Chief Commercial Officer and sales team
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and related documents
- Generate sales performance reports and revenue summaries
- Monitor replenishment flags and coordinate corrective action with merchant partners
- Manage user access and digital tools within key retail systems
- Support new brand launches on online marketplaces, including account creation and supply chain coordination
- Maintain and update project trackers and provide weekly progress reports to internal stakeholders
Sales Support
- Conduct ad hoc sales and inventory reporting throughout the week
- Assist with price monitoring, rollback tracking, and item performance across omni-channel platforms
- Compile sales data for merchant meetings and monthly reviews
- Manage and track product sample requests for both internal and customer-facing use
- Support cross-functional project timelines (e.g., digital shelf implementation, gift set initiatives)
Item Setup & Modular Forms
- Complete item setup documentation for seasonal and new product launches
- Submit modular forms accurately and on time for hundreds of seasonal SKUs
- Ensure compliance with item data, content requirements, and retailer-specific systems
- Support setup and data entry for new brand expansions into retail and online marketplaces
Content Management
- Upload and optimize digital content for retail product listings to meet content score benchmarks
- Conduct content QA and coordinate updates with internal teams and third-party partners
- Assist with variant updates and item alignment issues across retailer platforms
Customer & Sales Operations Support
- Prioritize and manage customer requests, including pricing, discounts, and account funding
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Finance teams on approvals and data reconciliation
- Support sales executives by preparing necessary sales paperwork and processing transactions through retail vendor portals
- Maintain product information systems, ensuring digital assets and data are accurate and current
- Generate new item forms (NIF), planogram data, and point-of-sale (POS) reports
- Process and manage sample requests internally and externally
- Assist in managing relationships with small- to mid-sized distributor accounts
- Travel to regional/national customer accounts as needed (approximately 5%)
Administrative Coordination
- Manage calendars, travel arrangements, and meeting itineraries for the sales team
- Coordinate internal meetings, quarterly sales gatherings, and annual trade show logistics
- Maintain shared files and sales team documentation
- Assist in preparing PowerPoint decks and presentations for internal or client-facing meetings
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
Profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support or executive assistant role
- Previous sales or administrative experience in a corporate environment is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized with excellent multitasking and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
- Self-starter with the motivation to exceed expectations and contribute to company growth
Job Offer
Contract to hire within 6-8 months. Benefits are offered day one through Aetna.
