Account Executive - General Contracting - NYC
Excellent Account Executive opportunity responsible for will driving new business development and client relationship growth within the commercial construction sector. This role requires a highly connected sales professional who can generate opportunities, manage the full sales lifecycle, and build long-term partnerships across the real estate and construction ecosystem.

With a strong reputation in the market, they partner with leading developers, architects, and property owners to deliver tailored construction solutions from concept through completion.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within commercial construction, with a focus on interior fit-out projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate developers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key industry stakeholders
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and upcoming development projects
- Represent the company in client presentations, project meetings, and contract discussions
Profile
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the construction industry (general contractor experience required)
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals within commercial construction or interior fit-outs
- Strong network and existing relationships with developers, architects, engineers, and/or subcontractors
- Deep understanding of the construction process, including preconstruction, estimating, and project delivery
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in a client-facing role
- Experience working with mid-sized to large general contractors strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously
