HR Manager (Spanish Speaking)
The HR Manager will oversee employee and labor relations for its unionized site. This role will lead a team of HR Generalists and serve as the primary HR contact for all employee-facing concerns. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in labor relations, grievance handling, and employee engagement, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

An international manufacturing company in Queens is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team. This organization is fast paced and growing rapidly, both in the US and internationally. This role is onsite and Spanish speaking is required.
Description
- Lead and manage a team of HR Generalists, providing guidance and support on all HR functions.
- Oversee employee and labor relations for a unionized workforce, including contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and negotiations.
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all employee-facing concerns, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
- Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement, conflict resolution, and retention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and collective bargaining agreements.
- Conduct investigations into workplace concerns, complaints, and policy violations.
- Support performance management, coaching, and employee development initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding, training, and workforce planning efforts.
Profile
- 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and grievance handling.
- Experience managing employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to build trust with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
