HR Administrator (Director-level)
This role will be responsible for leading and overseeing all human resources functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and HR strategy.

Our client is a New York City based General Construction and Construction Management firm building commercial, institutional, health care, hospitality, residential, retail and ground-up projects with our highly experienced, diverse staff.
Description
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to attract top talent
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, professional organizations, and recruitment agencies to create a steady talent pipeline.
- Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and negotiate employment contracts.
- Manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for new hires.
- Support the creation and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with company goals.
Profile
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals
- Experience in recruiting, talent management, and workforce planning
- Strong understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and performance management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and advise employees across all levels
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and exceptional record-keeping abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive HR issues with discretion and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HR software
Job Offer
