Molding Process Technician - Medical Device - Yonkers

Set up, install, remove, and adjust injection molding machines, molds, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain consistent production.

• Set up, install, remove, and adjust injection molding machines, molds, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain consistent production.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines, molds, and robotic systems.
• Verify that all molded parts meet quality and dimensional specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate technical updates to the team.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.
• Assist in training production staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform cleaning and general maintenance tasks in accordance with Clean Room protocols.

Profile

• 1-3 years of experience in injection molding operations, including mold changes and equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to operate, adjust, and maintain molding and robotic equipment (6-axis and 3-axis).
• Familiarity with plastic materials, mold functions, and process control.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use inspection tools.
• Computer proficiency for documentation and basic reporting.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, gripping, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work across shifts and in a cleanroom environment.
