Our client is a nonprofit organization, looking for a HR Manager to join their growing team in the New York Office.

Description

• The Human Resources manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the talent acquisition and the day-to day-functioning of the HR department
• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide recommendations for resolution
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment and selection strategies
• Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
• Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
• Provide guidance and support in administering employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives

Profile

• You have at least 5 years' experience in a managerial HR role
• You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Services or related field
• You have complete knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and excellent computer skills
• You have professional maturity and demonstrated good judgement
• You are an effective leader
• You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• You are a problem solver with proven ability to design and implement systems
• You are a strong team player
