Customer Service Rep - Chemical Engineering - Marlborough

The Customer Service Rep will play a key role in supporting clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment.

Description

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or online platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Process orders, forms, and applications efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide product and service information to customers as needed.
  • Follow up on customer feedback to enhance the overall experience.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives within the customer service team.

Profile

A successful Customer Service Rep should have:

  • Chemical engineering degree or background is a huge plus.
  • Background in Customer Service within manufacturing is a large plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • An ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing setting.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
  • A collaborative attitude to work well within a team environment.
