Temporary Receptionist/Office Manager
The selected candidate will represent the organization with professionalism and discretion while managing daily office operations and interacting with individuals across all levels.

An industry-leading organization is seeking a meticulous Office Manager/Receptionist to join their Corporate Headquarters in Stamford, CT, on a temporary basis. This position is ideal for a proactive and service-oriented administrative professional who thrives in dynamic environments.
Description
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering and screening calls, and routing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Welcome and assist visitors, coordinating their arrival with building security and arranging transportation as needed.
- Oversee conference room reservations and ensure proper scheduling.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and organization of office and kitchen supplies, maintaining supply areas and administering archival storage.
- Coordinate repairs, cleaning, and maintenance of office space and equipment.
- Assist with office construction and renovation projects, employee workspace setups, and office moves.
- Process office vendor invoices, ensuring timely review, approval, and payment.
- Handle incoming mail, route publications, coordinate express mail services, and oversee package deliveries.
- Act as the initial point of contact for safety, security, and emergency-related requests based on company and building protocols.
- Manage storage solutions for office and off-site archives.
- Provide support and backup to the Executive Assistant team as needed.
- Undertake additional administrative projects and tasks as assigned.
Profile
- At least eight years of relevant administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills with a resourceful, proactive approach.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and the ability to work 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
