Administrative Officer
Our client is a nonprofit organization who is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their Office of the Chair team. You will support with administrative duties, grants, and assist with contracts. This is a 1 year fixed contract, with the potential for longevity. Applicants must be immediately available for the contract.

- Support the Office of the Chair and Director with administrative support
- Assist with the grant-making process, including communicating with grantees on the proposal submission process, assisting with grant record preparation for compliance, monitoring grant making processes, payments and timely reporting
- Assist with events, operations and logistics support
- Manage and coordinate busy calendars and schedules, plan stakeholder meetings/events, and research/arrange logistics
- Act as the liaison between the senior staff in the Office of the Chair and Office of the President, regarding operations, exercising considerable discretion and working under limited supervision
- Proofread presentations, prepare briefings materials, and reports as needed
- Take meeting notes, communicate notes through management, and assist with projects
- Contribute to budget preparation, implementation, and monitoring
Profile
- Bachelors Degree is preferred
- Prior experience with grants is preferred
- 3-5 years of Administrative/Executive Assistant support
- Proven experience in collaborating, engaging, and supporting multi-country stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience and desire to make operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Ability to commit to a 1 year contract
- In-office 3-5x per week
