Senior Project Manager- K-12 Renovations

An established general contractor in South Florida is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead K-12 school renovation projects throughout Broward County. Description

• Manage all phases of assigned K-12 renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout.

• Lead project teams including superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and administrative staff.

• Oversee budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.

• Maintain regular communication with district representatives, architects, and stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and compliance with Broward County school board requirements.

• Conduct on-site inspections and progress meetings to drive timelines and maintain quality.

• Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and budget variances proactively.

Profile

• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction with a strong background in K-12 or public-sector renovations.

• Proven track record managing projects valued between $5M-$30M.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Deep understanding of Florida building codes, public procurement procedures, and working in occupied facilities.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and client-facing communication skills.

• Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project
