HR Specialist
Human Resource Specialist to run the daily functions of the Human Resource department including on-boarding / off-boarding, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices as well as process payroll and maintain employee time records.

Our client is a cloud-based platform that allows users to create their own applications and project management software.
Description
- Manage daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, and maintaining time and attendance records.
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, leave, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Track, review, and document compliance with required training, certifications, and assessments (e.g., safety, anti-harassment, licensure).
- Conduct new hire orientation and coordinate employee recognition initiatives.
- Support the administration of core HR programs such as performance management, talent development, employee relations, and workplace safety.
- Address employment-related inquiries from staff and applicants, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Ensure HR policies comply with federal, state, and local labor laws; update practices accordingly.
- Stay informed on HR trends, legal updates, and emerging technologies in talent and workforce management.
- Input and maintain employee data in the payroll system, including compensation details, time tracking, and deductions.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally and tactfully.
- Skilled in or able to quickly learn payroll systems, HRIS, and other related software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
