Estimator
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join a dynamic and reputable General Contractor based in Opa-Locka, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse project sectors including K-12 education, multifamily developments, and healthcare facilities.

Description
Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects across K-12, multifamily, and healthcare sectors.
Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope and requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors during the bidding process.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive and comprehensive proposals.
Develop detailed quantity take-offs and cost analyses for all trades.
Assist in value engineering efforts to maintain quality while controlling costs.
Participate in preconstruction meetings and provide input on budgets, schedules, and project feasibility.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, ideally within the K-12, multifamily, or healthcare sectors. They should have strong knowledge of construction means and methods, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with estimating software. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
