HR Manager - Chino Valley, AZ
The HR Manager will play a key role in driving workforce engagement, compliance, talent acquisition, and operational excellence within a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Client Details
A leading manufacturer with multiple locations across the US is seeking a hands-on and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions at its Chino Valley facility.
Description
Serve as the onsite HR leader, supporting a diverse workforce across hourly, salaried, and skilled trade roles
Partner with site leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, engagement, and retention strategies
Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for new hires
Lead performance management and coaching efforts, including annual reviews and progressive discipline
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and safety regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.)
Administer benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation in partnership with corporate HR
Support ongoing employee development through training initiatives and career pathing
Maintain accurate employee records, policies, and HRIS data (experience with UKG or ADP preferred)
Foster a strong safety culture and promote a respectful, inclusive workplace environment
Profile
5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations-driven environment
Strong working knowledge of Arizona labor law and HR compliance practices
Experience supporting hourly workforce populations in high-volume settings
Demonstrated success in employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
Strong communication, leadership, and influence skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with a high degree of professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; PHR/SPHR certification a plus

Competitive base salary ($90,000-$110,000 annually)
