Special Projects Manager - Commercial Construction

Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with internal teams to align on project scope, schedule, and budget
- Developing and maintaining project schedules while identifying and mitigating risks
- Monitoring field operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and contract requirements
- Communicating with owners, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project progress
- Managing change orders, including tracking, pricing, and approvals
- Maintaining project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and reports
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Collaborating with estimating teams on constructability and future project input
- Resolving project issues through coordination with stakeholders
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting team development
- Tracking material procurement to ensure timely delivery
- Supporting project closeout including punch lists and final documentation
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Driving continuous improvement across project processes
Profile
The Project Manager will have:
- 2-5 years of experience in small-scale commercial construction
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Clear and effective communication across stakeholders
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and project priorities
- Experience identifying risks and implementing solutions
- Understanding of cost tracking, forecasting, and project financials
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with subcontractors and vendors
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Interest in mentoring and developing junior staff
