AML/Sanctions Investigation Consultant
This 6-month contract role involves reviewing AML and sanctions alerts, conducting enhanced investigations, and ensuring compliance with U.S. regulatory standards such as BSA/AML and OFAC. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments, contribute to process improvements, and work in a hybrid setting after an initial integration period.

Description
Analyze AML monitoring alerts to verify adherence to BSA/AML regulations and accurately document investigative outcomes.
Perform in-depth investigations into individuals or activities flagged as potentially suspicious.
Assess sanctions screening alerts generated during nightly list matching to identify possible compliance concerns.
Execute searches on individuals and entities in response to FinCEN 314(a) information-sharing requests.
Maintain thorough and organized documentation to support audit trail requirements and facilitate review.
Profile
A bachelor's degree is required.
4+ years of experience in AML compliance or a related regulatory function.
Strong understanding of U.S. AML laws and OFAC regulatory frameworks.
