HR Generalist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including payroll processing in US and Canada, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and general HR administration

Description

  • Integration Workday to benefit carriers and ADP, integrations out of Workday, various benefit carriers)
  • Process payroll for 450 US and 16 Canadian employees and Bermuda populations
  • Audit payroll, processing payroll transaction, compliance filling
  • Handle exit interviews, audit/ compliance of benefits, running reports
  • Address payroll inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as required
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns
  • Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, escalating as necessary
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address any related questions or issues
  • Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and assist with annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes

Profile

  • Workday experience
  • MUST have Canadian Payroll experience
  • Years of experience - 5-7 yrs
  • 3 most important qualities (technical & personality)
  • ATS/ HRIS - ADP and Workday
  • Background/company - Open to professional services
  • Quicker learn
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll software
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
