My client is seeking an Engineering Manager responsible for leading design efforts and overseeing the execution of a wide range of engineering projects. This position ensures safe, successful delivery by driving operational processes and providing strong leadership, communication, and end-to-end ownership of project planning and execution.

Description

You will report directly into the Vice President and be responsible for:

• Working directly with engineers and project managers to guide technical strategy, oversee project delivery, and ensure designs meet performance and operational requirements.
• Communicating project updates, engineering information, and progress effectively across internal teams and with external stakeholders.
• Monitoring project milestones, deadlines, objectives, and goals, ensuring engineering and project teams are on track.
• Driving organizational initiatives from leadership to improve operational efficiency and long-term performance across teams.
• Developing employees' skills through ongoing feedback, coaching, and ensuring performance reviews are conducted according to company policy.
• Resolving technical and operational conflicts both within the team and with external partners.
• Establishing and tracking departmental performance metrics, sharing regular updates and conducting in-depth reviews periodically.
• Fostering a team culture that attracts, develops, and retains talent while promoting engagement and professional growth.

Profile

The successful candidate will have

• 10+ years of engineering management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Fluid processing system design skills preferred
• Strong project management skills
• Cost and schedule management skills
• cGMP knowledge
• Strong communication skills
