Bilingual HR Director - Manuf. - Up to $175K
Join a growing international manufacturing group as the Bilingual (French) HR Director for North America, where you'll lead strategic and operational HR across multiple sites in the U.S. and Canada. This is a high-visibility role ideal for an HR leader with a strong background in manufacturing, change management, and global collaboration. With 50% travel, you'll partner closely with plant leadership and global HR stakeholders to shape a consistent, people-first culture across borders.

Description
- Serve as the HR lead for all U.S. and Canadian operations, supporting plant managers and functional leaders across multiple sites.
- Own all aspects of HR including employee relations, talent development, performance management, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
- Act as the point person for implementing global HR strategies regionally, ensuring alignment with corporate policies while adapting to local needs.
- Lead change management efforts during business integrations, system rollouts, and leadership transitions.
- Partner with the European-based Global HR team and translate strategies into executable plans for North America.
- Support plant-level HR teams and coach operational leaders on best practices, workforce planning, and labor relations.
- Travel approximately 50% to North American sites (U.S. and Canada).
Profile
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with 3-5 years in a senior or director-level role supporting manufacturing or industrial teams.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) - required.
- Proven experience leading HR for multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on approach with comfort operating as both strategic advisor and day-to-day partner.
- MUST HAVE experience with change management, international collaboration, and HR systems.
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian labor laws; global HR exposure strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
