HR Manager opportunity to work as a people manager at well known unionized hospitality company. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Client Details
Our client is a well known hospitality company that is looking to bring on an HR Manager to support their growing team. This role will be on-site 5 days a week in Queens and has a base salary of $90 - 110K.
Description
- Manage a team of six HR professionals to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services, effective implementation of HR policies, and alignment with overall business goals.
- Manage the end-to-end internal recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
- Address employee relations and workplace conflicts, conduct investigations into grievances and disciplinary issues, implement strategies to improve employee satisfaction and engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Oversee the performance management process, including creating clear objectives, conducting evaluations, and driving continuous improvement.
Profile
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field required.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in a retail environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of current HR state laws.
- 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the hospitality or related industry.
- Experience managing a large, diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
