Project Manager- K-12 Construction
A leading general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee K-12 school construction projects in the Fort Lauderdale area. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background managing ground-up and renovation work in the education sector.

Description
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and school district representatives to ensure project goals are met
Manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and district-specific guidelines
Oversee procurement and manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress and address field conditions proactively
Profile
7+ years of experience managing K-12 construction projects in Florida
Proven ability to lead projects ranging from $10M-$50M+ in value
Strong understanding of school board protocols, DSA/DCE regulations, and local permitting processes
Excellent communication and leadership skills to interface with stakeholders, district personnel, and internal teams
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam)
