Project Manager- K-12 construction

A West Palm Beach-based general contractor is seeking a Project Manager with strong experience delivering K-12 renovation projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful educational facility projects while working with a stable, community-focused construction firm.

Description

• Oversee the full project lifecycle for K-12 renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to maintain scheduling and budget expectations.

• Review and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and school board regulations.

• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including school officials and internal teams.

• Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates to ownership and clients.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, preferably with a focus on K-12 or institutional renovation work.

• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors, schedules, and budgets concurrently.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).

• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.

• Must be local to West Palm Beach or willing to commute regularly to job sites in the surrounding area.

Job Offer

• Competitive base salary in the range of $110,000-$140,000 depending on experience.
