The Assistant Project Manager will work in collaboration with the Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to completion. Projects will include a variety of commercial interiors, renovations, and new construction, ranging from $500k - $30M+.

Description

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Working alongside Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to completion. Project types will include a variety of commercial interiors, renovations, and new construction, ranging from $500k - $30M+
• Assisting with the daily management, coordination, supervision, and successful completion of projects
• Monitoring construction activities and site conditions, and taking corrective actions to non-compliant work
• Participating in & leading staff meetings
• Reviewing and compiling RFIs, submittals, change requests, and other project financial documentation
• Assisting with overseeing project budget. Lead project buyout with subcontractors and trade partners

Profile

The Assistant Project Manager will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• +/- 2-5 years of experience within commercial construction
• General Contracting background
• Demonstrated history of overseeing commercial construction projects from start to finish. Project types can include commercial interiors, renovations, and/or new construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff
• Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
• Shown ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects
