Assistant Project Manager - Top 50 ENR GC - McLean, VA
The Assistant Project Manager will work in collaboration with the Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to completion. Projects will include a variety of commercial interiors, renovations, and new construction, ranging from $500k - $30M+.

Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Working alongside Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from start to completion. Project types will include a variety of commercial interiors, renovations, and new construction, ranging from $500k - $30M+
- Assisting with the daily management, coordination, supervision, and successful completion of projects
- Monitoring construction activities and site conditions, and taking corrective actions to non-compliant work
- Participating in & leading staff meetings
- Reviewing and compiling RFIs, submittals, change requests, and other project financial documentation
- Assisting with overseeing project budget. Lead project buyout with subcontractors and trade partners
Profile
The Assistant Project Manager will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- +/- 2-5 years of experience within commercial construction
- General Contracting background
- Demonstrated history of overseeing commercial construction projects from start to finish. Project types can include commercial interiors, renovations, and/or new construction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Shown ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects
