HR Generalist - Earth City, MO

The HR Generalist will serve as the on-the-ground HR support for the Earth City site and act as a key liaison between employees, site leadership, and the HR Manager based in Arizona. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building strong employee relationships, maintaining compliance, and supporting a high-performance culture.

This organization is a leading firearm manufacturer committed to quality, innovation, and a culture of integrity. The Earth City facility plays a key role in the production process, and we are seeking a hands-on, proactive HR Generalist to support our growing team and manufacturing operations.

Description

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations at the Earth City location, responding to concerns and partnering with leadership to ensure fair and consistent resolution.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace environment.
• Collaborate with the Value Stream Manager to support performance management processes, including coaching, documentation, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee time and attendance tracking, including daily monitoring, corrections, and compliance with company policies.
• Partner with the HR Manager in Arizona to execute ad hoc HR projects such as process improvements, audits, training initiatives, or policy rollouts.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Ensure local compliance with federal and state employment laws and company HR policies.
• Support safety and compliance initiatives in collaboration with the operations team.

Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and timekeeping systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while remaining connected to a broader HR team.
• Experience with firearm or defense manufacturing is a plus but not required.
