Junior Estimator
An established general contractor in Miami is seeking a Junior Estimator with 2-3 years of experience preparing bids for commercial construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to grow your estimating skills while supporting a steady pipeline of diversified work.

Description
Assist in preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial construction projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to determine project costs
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and help develop project scopes
Maintain and update estimating software, databases, and project documentation
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction leadership to deliver complete bid packages
Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor pricing
Participate in bid reviews and support the handoff to project teams once awarded
Profile
2-3 years of estimating experience with a general contractor (required)
Strong ability to read construction drawings and perform quantity takeoffs
Familiarity with estimating software (Bluebeam, Procore, OST, or similar)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Driven, coachable, and eager to continue building their skills in preconstruction and estimating
