Junior Estimator- Commercial Construction
An established general contractor in Miami is seeking a Junior Estimator with at least 2+ years of experience supporting preconstruction efforts. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a high-performing team while contributing to competitive bids across commercial projects.

Description
Assist in preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates across multiple project types.
Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to support bid development.
Help manage bid logs, subcontractor outreach, and the coordination of competitive proposals.
Support the preconstruction team with value engineering, budget updates, and scope assessments.
Maintain organized estimate documentation and ensure timely delivery of bid packages.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Senior Estimators, and Precon leadership to refine budgets and project scopes.
Profile
2+ years of experience working in the preconstruction department of a general contractor.
Proficient with estimating software, on-screen takeoff tools, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
A team player who is eager to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibility over time.
