Estimator - Public Construction
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to help us bid and win public projects across the tri-state area. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a deep understanding of public sector construction who values integrity, stability, and trust.

Description
Read Drawings: Analyze and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specs.
Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Bid Evaluation: Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Client Facing: Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client meetings as needed
Documentation: Maintain cost databases and historical pricing for benchmarking.
Team Leadership: Ensure seamless hand-off of awarded projects to project management teams.
Profile

Required:
3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
Proficiency in reading construction drawings, specs, and contracts
Prior experience bidding public sector projects

Preferred:
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, or Architectural License
You're a detail-oriented professional with a strategic mindset and strong communication skills. You thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and are eager to contribute to a growing team committed to excellence.
