Project Manager- Public Projects

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead public and municipal construction projects in the $1M-$3M range throughout Palm Beach County. This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple fast-paced projects from preconstruction through closeout with a respected local contractor.

Description

• Manage public and municipal construction projects from award through final closeout

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and contracts

• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and municipal inspectors

• Prepare and manage subcontracts, change orders, and pay applications

• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment

• Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, local codes, and public-sector requirements

• Track project costs and report on financial performance and forecasting

Profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager on public/municipal construction projects

• Proven experience managing projects in the $1M-$3M range

• Strong understanding of government procurement, permitting, and compliance processes

• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Proficient with construction management software and project controls

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
