Human Resources Business Partner | Legal | NYC

The Human Resources Business Partner will play a vital role in supporting the strategic and operational goals for one of the firm's practice groups. This position requires experience within Legal or professional services and flexibility to work onsite 3 days a week from Midtown Manhattan.

Description

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee performance management processes, offering coaching and feedback to managers and employees.
  • Analyze HR data and trends to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver training and development programs.

Profile

A successful Human Resources Business Partner should have:

  • A strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and employment law.
  • Experience in the legal environment highly preferred, profesisonal services experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset for addressing challenges.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools to manage data and processes efficiently.
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
