HR Generalist | NYC

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle including benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, recruiting, and employee engagement. This position is based in New York (4 days onsite) and offers a great opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Client Details

This is a well-established, mid-sized real estate company that is 4 days onsite (remote on Fridays). The company is known for its commitment to excellence and collaborative work environment.

Description

  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding processes.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Manage HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and personnel files.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and development opportunities.
  • Handle benefits administration and address employee questions regarding benefits programs.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations, providing updates to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with department heads to support workforce planning and organizational development.

Profile

A successful HR Generalist should have:

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in recruitment and benefits administration.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HR software (ADP WFN preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite 4 days a week (remote on Fridays).
  • 3+ years HR experience (required).
